CURRENT INFORMATION (IMPORTANT NEWS) - FALL 2026

ADDITION TO THE CHAPTER: 2D 1H, 13C HSQC EXPERIMENT

The content regarding the HSQC experiment for determining CHn multiplicity — in the subsection Variants of the 2D HSQC Sequence and related Experiments — has been expanded.

This experiment suffers somewhat from its less-than-ideal 1JCH tolerance, which affects its sensitivity.

The addition briefly describes a variant—proposed some time ago—that at least partially alleviates this ¹JCH tolerance problem.

It is therefore essential to point out this variant—something that was overlooked in earlier versions of the tutorial, for which I would like to apologize.

A new version, TOPSPIN 5.0, has recently be introduced by BRUKER.
