Digital Solutions for Remote Teaching and Work

Remote teaching and work are an essential part of employments in the higher education and research sector. This peer oriented workshop reviews digitial solutions available with hands-on applications and best practices. It is a highlight collection from our Forum on Digital Solutions for Remote Teaching and Work. 

Also in a classroom setting with corona virus measures remote techniques are relevant as close contact is to be avoided.

Objectives (preliminary)
  • Solutions and best practices for online meetings and lecturing
  • Lecturing with Zoom including best practises for takeover of paticipants' keyboards
  • Podcasts with smart phones 
  • Remote assessment solutions and best practices 
  • Jupyter Notebooks
Target group
  • People teaching and working in higher education and research institutions.
Prerequisites 
  • None. Participants must connect via Zoom
Methods
  • Short presentations, hands-on tutorials and peer exchange.
