openBIS is a data management software provided by the Scientific IT Services group of ETH. It incorporates an Electornic Laboratory Notebook, an Inventory Management and Data Management System, as well.
The training is going to cover the following aspects of the software

The training is going to cover the following aspects of the software
- Introduction to openBIS
- How to manage the lab inventory of materials and samples
- How to manage lab protocols
- How to record experiments in the Electronic Lab Notebook & upload data
- UNIBE members, students and potential users
- Participants must bring own laptops.
- No previous experience is required.
- The training alternates between blocks of information and hands-on exercises.
- Dr. Kinga Sipos as member of the ScITS team, is giving support on openBIS to the research groups of University of Bern
