Web scraping
Often information is not readily available as structured data online. One has to "scrape" it from the web. In this course you will learn how to automate that process using Python.
Course Objectives
- Learn how to web scrape
Target group
- Students and Staff of UniBe.
Prerequisites
- Participants must bring own laptops
- Participants should have a GitHub account
- Participants should be familiar but not experts with Python. No specific software development knowledge is necessary
Methods
The course is interactive with live demonstrations followed by hands-on sessions where participants get to apply what they just learned.
Certificate
- A certificate will be delivered to participants who have attended the whole training.
