Ray Space

Hi there!


Z here in slide 27 represents the distance RELATIVE to the camera setup (its not the z coordinate of the scene point).


The slope in the ray-space is okay too.. This is also relative to the point distance to camera. You can move the point in the left plot back and forth and you would see that the slope of the line in the ray-space would change (vertical slope indicates objects at infinity). Also you should be able to see that when you switch between the rays (left plot) the t and v change linearly to each other.
