MILE 12 Week 36/37/38: Moot Court

The final element of your studies on MILE is writing a master's thesis over the course of the summer months – after you've completed all mandatory coursework.

The objective of the 50-page MILE Master's Thesis is to equip you with the skills needed to publish in a leading journal and to write a policy-relevant piece of work. Guided by a member of the MILE faculty or one of the researchers in our network, you'll have the opportunity to develop and write about a topic in the fields of law, economics or political economy of international trade. It is a challenging yet rewarding experience!

You'll be asked to submit a thesis proposal by the end of the second term and you'll have the chance to discuss your ideas with the WTI's Director of Studies, Mr Pierre Sauvé, and the in-house researchers of the NCCR Trade Regulation.

Every year, we publish theses that received an A grade as WTI Working Papers on our website and work with students to submit revised versions of their work to leading professional journals in the trade field.
