Track the students' moods

SITUATION

  • The mood of the students should be tracked, e.g. whether they understand the topic, are satisfied with the organization or enjoy the course

IMPLEMENTATION

Example from the Faculty of Humanities

  • For each question, one poll is created
  • For more details, students get the option to comment on the poll
  • The poll is displayed to the right of the content in the ILIAS course room
  • Students can select one or more answers and add comments if necessary
  • Students can participate in the poll during or outside of the classroom session

  • A LiveVoting is created
  • In the LiveVoting, one or more questions about the students’ mood are asked
  • The LiveVoting is conducted during the course in the classroom
  • The students can vote via smartphone, tablet, or laptop
  • The results are graphically displayed live in ILIAS and can be discussed immediately
