Notes on image sizes on ILIAS

1. Image size & resolution
To keep the data volume as low as possible and still achieve high image quality, we recommend the following image properties:

* Tile images are compressed directly after being uploaded to ILIAS and made available in different versions. The screen width determines which image size is used for display. Templates are available for download for creating tile images.

2. Tools to edit image size & resolution
To adjust the size or resolution of your images we recommend the website https://www.iloveimg.com. There you can, for example:
- Compress IMAGE: Reduce resolution to 72 ppi
- Resize IMAGE: Adjust image size
